Gentry has been "crawling" for quite a while. I put crawling in quotations because although he learned to crawl a month or more ago, he would only crawl when he wanted something and when he would get within a stretched arms length of whatever he wanted, he would just lay down and reach for it. Usually said item was within a foot or two of him. He loves to pull up on anything he can as he's quite the little monkey and has no fear. I guess he just wanted to wait until he was REALLY ready to fully crawl. Well, yesterday was the day. I never caught it on video yesterday but I finally did this afternoon. Ladies and gentleman....prepare to be amazed! :) Just kidding...I'm just proud of my little man. Now that he is really on the move and pulling up on things, we are in trouble, Lucy included!

Playing Catch Up
Where does he come up with these things?
Gentry's newest game/form of entertainment is showcased in the two videos below. Where he came up with this, I have no idea! One evening before bedtime we were all hanging out on the couch. Gentry was sitting between Brian and I and he began to make this silly noise while stiffening his arms out in front of him. I began to mimic him and he thought it was funny. We went back and forth for quite some time. I was in hysterics when all was said and done. I thought it was just some one time thing that he would do but I was wrong. He must of remembered how entertaining it was because the next day we played the same game, going back and forth, copying each other. When Brian was home that evening, Gentry apparently wanted to play his game with daddy because he started up again.
The first video is of the two of them the first time I captured it on video. We had the lights dimmed so it is a bit dark but it is quite funny. Enjoy!
This second video is from yesterday. He was at it again....silly boy! The lighting is better in this one since it was daytime. (Notice Brian keeping his eye on the tv. :) His Cats were playing and he just couldn't miss a play.)
