About Us

Brian and I were married on May 19th, 2007. Shortly thereafter, we moved to Nevada, MO to begin our life together. Brian works for 3M as an Advanced Product Engineer and I am blessed to be a stay at home mom. Our little boy Gentry was born on January 26, 2011. He is the most beautiful, perfect little boy and we are so lucky he is ours. We have a boxer named Lucy who we treat like our child as well. She is still a little jealous of Gentry but we know one day they will be buddies.

Catching up:June 29th-July 8th

The weekend before the 4th we went to Independence to visit Brian's family. We arrived on Friday evening. Saturday, we visited Brian's dad, Tracy and his Grandma Betty in Coffeyville. That evening we swam and got ready for the bbq the next day. On Sunday, Brian's Grandpa and Grandma Russell came out, as well as Eric and his crew, Steve's son Brian, Jessica and their son Bryson and Courtney's bf, Levi. It was a full house! We ate tons of yummy food and homemade ice cream. That afternoon we swam and played outside before packing up to come home.

On Friday afternoon, my parents arrived! Gentry went down for a nap shortly after they got here but when he woke up he had an awesome surprise waitng for him! Grandpa and Grandma Francis brought him an awesome sandbox. Gentry loves all things dirt so this was right up his alley. He played and played in it. His favorite part was dumping sand OUT of the sandbox. Silly boy! On Saturday we went to Pecans and More to stock up on cheese and my favorite wasabi bean mix. We decided to try their ice cream that day too and Gentry LOVED his cotton candy flavor. We got his a mini scoop but apparently that wasn't enough because he wanted to finish everyone elses ice cream too.
