About Us

Brian and I were married on May 19th, 2007. Shortly thereafter, we moved to Nevada, MO to begin our life together. Brian works for 3M as an Advanced Product Engineer and I am blessed to be a stay at home mom. Our little boy Gentry was born on January 26, 2011. He is the most beautiful, perfect little boy and we are so lucky he is ours. We have a boxer named Lucy who we treat like our child as well. She is still a little jealous of Gentry but we know one day they will be buddies.

Life lately and our trip to Independence

Last weekend we travelled to Independence. We got in Friday afternoon and after surprising grandma at work we went to the Indy HS homecoming game. Gentry yelled "football" as soon as we got into the stands and loved the band. At halftime we watched Courtney and the dance team perform and then Gentry, Grandma Vickie and I headed home. Brian and Grandpa Steve stayed to finish out the game. Saturday afternoon we went down to Coffeyville to see Grandpa and Grandma Sandon who were in town from Iowa, Great Grandma Betty and Great Grandpa and Grandma Griswold. Gentry got to decorate Halloween cookies that Grandma Tracy had gotten for him. That evening we headed back to Indy to have a weinie roast and cook smores over the fire. Sunday afternoon, Uncle Eric, Calli and her sweeties came out as well as Great Grandpa and Grandma Russell. After lunch, Gentry and grandma made a "spider pumpkin" and colored with great grandma. We got packed up late that afternoon and headed back to Nevada. Gentry slept the whole way. He was worn out from all of the fun. Here are pictures of the few days prior to our trip and some from our time away from home.
