About Us

Brian and I were married on May 19th, 2007. Shortly thereafter, we moved to Nevada, MO to begin our life together. Brian works for 3M as an Advanced Product Engineer and I am blessed to be a stay at home mom. Our little boy Gentry was born on January 26, 2011. He is the most beautiful, perfect little boy and we are so lucky he is ours. We have a boxer named Lucy who we treat like our child as well. She is still a little jealous of Gentry but we know one day they will be buddies.

Fall = Pumpkins & Football

I love this time of year! I love everything about it. Decorating, carving pumpkins after picking out the perfect one...or two or three or four, watching the Wildcats dominate...6-0 baby, the smells of the season and the crisp, cool air. This weekend was perfect for all of that! On Saturday, we headed out to Cubbage's Country Market's open house. We picked out four pumpkins to carve, used their rustic decor for some photos and enjoyed their free pulled beef sandwiches for lunch. We then headed home to hang out and prepare to watch K-State play that evening. A co-worker of Brian's and his wife, a good friend of mine, are moving and had a going away party that night. We all donned our K-State jerseys and went over to send them off. We had to show our Wildcat pride. :) We will miss you, Figaro's! Today was spent relaxing, doing laundry and carving our pumpkins. We carved the traditional jack o' lantern, an "s" for Sandon, a Powercat...as always and Gentry's little baby pumpkin became a bat. Gentry got to help pull the guts out of the pumpkins and boy was he a mess when all was said and done. Luckily, he never tried to eat any, which was a huge surprise since EVERYTHING goes in his mouth these days. :) Enjoy the pictures from our weekend! (Note: In many of the photos from Cubbage's, Gentry is not looking at the camera. There was just WAY too much going on around him and he was taking it all in.)

Our punkin' with the pumpkins!

Such a sweetie!
Not so sure about the tire swing horse.

Daddy and Gentry. (He really wanted that pumpkin.)

Go Wildcats!

Stomping on Nathan's Nebraska hat! Such a smart boy!

Our clean boy before pumpkin carving.

His first handful of pumpkin guts...not quite sure what to think.

Really getting into it.

Hmmmmm...

Getting messy!

That little bottom looks cute even when covered in pumpkin. :) Such a mess!
